Buffalo State Teacher Candidates, please consider applying for a position in the Teacher Education Unit Professional Advisory Council, TEUPAC. Undergraduate student representatives are selected to serve on the Advisory Council through an application and interviewing process. Serving on the Professional Development Consortium and Council is a rewarding, collaborative, and educational experience that builds your resume, allows your teacher candidate voice to contribute, and provides opportunities for professional development and networking. Representatives serve a one and one-half year term. Attendance and participation at monthly meetings is expected.
The successful candidate will hold the following credentials:
• 1. The candidate is a current student in any Buffalo State education major (secondary, K-12, exceptional, childhood, early childhood education).
• 2. The candidate will be participating in field experience and/or methods courses.
• 3. The candidate possesses leadership qualities and the ability to work as a part of a professional committee as evidenced by employment or volunteer experiences.
Interested Candidates may submit an application, letter of interest, resume, current transcript (or documentation from the DegreeWorks program reflecting completed coursework and grades), and letter(s) of recommendation. Candidates must submit a minimum of one letter of recommendation, but may submit up to three letters of recommendation.
